Acting helps children build confidence, communication skills, emotional intelligence, creativity, focus, and teamwork — skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
For many families, acting also provides a fun, active alternative to excessive screen time and video games by encouraging real-world socializing, creativity, movement, self-expression, and collaboration in a supportive environment.
Acting offers so much more than performance. It helps kids grow into confident, creative, and expressive individuals.
Through fun, engaging activities, students develop communication skills, emotional intelligence, focus, teamwork, independence, and self-expression — all while making friends and having a blast.
Parents are welcome to relax in our cozy studio lobby and movie/snack room during class, or drop off and return at pickup — whichever works best for your schedule.
Many families tell us this quickly becomes the highlight of their child’s week.

Meets: Once a week for 2 hours x 4 weeks
Cost: 169
Our exciting and supportive sessions meet once a week for two hours for a total of four weeks. It truly is where fun meets artistic growth! Here, we’ll go beyond the joy of acting to also focus on understanding the essential tools of actors—our voice, imagination, brain, and body movement. With a spotlight on acting exercises, creating characters, script analysis, and on-camera work, our curriculum is not just about having a blast but aims to enhance communication skills, confidence, problem-solving, clearly articulating ideas and thoughts, and emotional intelligence. Acting is a delightful journey but also an artistic discipline akin to the dedication required for music, singing, or dance. We believe in the power of deliberate practice and effort. As the session unfolds, your child can showcase their newfound skills in a taped mock audition performance, and you’ll receive a keepsake copy! Completing the session comes with its own reward—a well-deserved graduation certificate.

Not at all. Most students have no prior or formal acting training when they start classes! Join us on this exciting journey of artistic growth and discovery for your child!
It all depends on your child’s goals with acting. If they’re exploring acting as a fun extracurricular and decide to move on after the session, no problem! Kids have diverse interests, and we encourage them to explore what they love most.
However, if acting is more than just a fun activity for them, and they’re serious about building skills, auditioning, and getting paid bookings, we recommend taking more than one class. Our classes continually evolve with similar warm-ups and new exercises, allowing students to build on their learning. We introduce concepts based on readiness, and each session includes a new mock audition assignment.
Acting for Kids classes are ongoing, akin to music or dance lessons. More practice often leads to greater skill in the long run. For those aiming to audition, get paid bookings, and eventually secure agency representation in the Southeast region, we generally find that 3-4 sessions are needed to start auditioning and 4-6 sessions to submit to a reputable talent agent. However, the instructors can provide more personalized feedback on this and assess their readiness.
Yes! The 7–13 age range is a general guideline to help the group run smoothly. If your child can follow instructions, work well with others, and read (even with a little help), they’re absolutely welcome. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help you decide.
Absolutely! If it turns out that acting classes aren’t your child’s cup of tea, no worries at all! We value genuine interest and believe in finding what truly excites each student. Forcing participation isn’t our style; we want everyone to be here because they want to be. If, for any reason, a student is continuously disruptive, which is quite rare, we may need to withdraw them from the class to ensure a cohesive learning environment. Rest assured, we’ll promptly make arrangements to reimburse you for any remaining classes. Your child’s comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities!
In short, no.
One of the most common scams we encounter involves casting director/audition/agent schemes. You may have seen these ads on social media or heard commercials promoting them on the radio. They typically go something like this:
“Nickelodeon/Disney/Netflix casting directors/agents want to meet you! This Saturday at the Hyatt Regency/Ramada Inn Hotel and Conference Center/The Avenues Mall, come audition for a chance to be selected to work on major Nickelodeon/Disney/Netflix shows like Tooned In, Big Shot, and Stranger Things!”
Unfortunately, reputable casting directors or agents don’t travel to malls or hotels in unfamiliar cities to meet children with no acting experience or training. That’s simply not how the industry operates.
What usually happens at these “auditions”? They have your child perform a short scene or monologue in front of strangers claiming to be “in the business.” Afterward, they’ll praise your child’s performance and invite them to the “next round.” Finally, they’ll present you with a glossy brochure and ask you to pay for a package that supposedly includes everything your child needs to get started. These packages often start at $1200.00 and can go up to over $10,000.00, preying on those unfamiliar with the industry by promising fame, Hollywood living, and acting dreams coming true.
Here’s the reality: acting is like ANY OTHER JOB. You learn a skill (through classes with a legitimate school or studio), audition for a role (the job), and get paid for that role (the work you do). The ONLY things an actor will ever pay for are learning the job, headshots (eventually), and maybe gas to get to set. You don’t pay to be considered for a job. You don’t pay to meet casting directors, agents, or anyone else hiring. That’s like paying McDonald’s to interview for a cashier position. Don’t fall for these scams! If you come across something and are unsure, please ask us! We’re here to help and be a resource for parents and students – always!
Life happens and we understand that sometimes a class must be missed. Don’t worry – we’ll make sure to catch your child up before the next class! Missed classes can be easily made up in any future session, and there’s no expiration on make-up dates. Their learning journey is our top priority!
